Equine Liability

(For trainers, riding instructors, stable owners, and private horse owners)

Please provide:

  • Description of your operations
  • Number of owned and non-owned horses
  • Average number of students per week
  • Average value of horses in your care
  • Description of lessons and/or training provided
  • Any additional details about your operation

Farm Insurance

In addition to the equine liability details above, please include:

  • Estimated replacement value of house(s)
  • Estimated replacement value of building(s)
  • Estimated value of farm personal property (tack, tractors, tools, equipment, etc.)

In person visits may be available, depending on location of the farm. Otherwise, we normally request documentation via email. 

Auto, Truck & Trailer Insurance

Please provide the following:

For all drivers:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • License Number
  • State Licensed

For all vehicles:

  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Estimated cost new

Workers’ Compensation

Workers’ compensation premiums are based on payroll and experience. Please provide:

  • Legal name of your business
  • Number of years in business
  • Current insurance carrier
  • Number of full-time and part-time employees
  • Estimated annual payroll
  • Description of employee duties (including whether they ride horses)
  • FEIN and UIM numbers
  • Loss runs and experience modification report (if available)

These policies are auditable, so please provide information as accurately as possible.
